An early original painting by David Shepherd,
In the 1960s, the RAF would fly David Shepherd to various locations in the Middle East.
He was able to paint a series of fascinating works throughout this region.
One of the first published paintings produced was titled 'Shibam' in 1965.
This original painting is quite similar and in the same region, where the tall buildings were constructed with mud.
