We are delighted to have this wonderful original oil painting on canvas for sale in the studio.
So typical of David's landscape work, full of character and atmosphere.
It was most probably painted in the Surrey countryside; David's home county.
The bare trees and stormy skies could well indicate that the season could be late Autumn, or possibly very early Spring.
The light is an all important factor in this painting, the large dark trees stand in contrast to light cloudy sky.
