A beautifully executed Victorian style painting of David's wife and children by the fire, with Muffin, their Bearded Collie.
The smallest details have been meticulously painted, the expressions of the mother and daughtrer, the embers glowing in the fireplace almost come alive.
an array of toys on the wooden mantelpiece, a cup of tea and biscuit on the stool, the brass hanging on the wall has a particular luminence.
